Biography
Dr. (Prof) Vijay Patil is an Internationally Acclaimed Medical Oncologist, and has treated more than 1 lakh patients and an authority in Head & Neck Cancers, Brain tumors, Thoracic and Urology tumors.
After completing his medical oncology residency training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2013, he worked as an assistant professor in Malabar Cancer Center Kerala and then joined the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai in 2015. Where he gained considerable experience in treating cancer patients and performed pioneering research which got published in leading oncology journals like Journal of Clinical oncology, Lancet group of Journals, Annals of Oncology, and Journal of the National Cancer Institute etc. He has 10 years of teaching experience and has instructed residents. He was formerly at the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, till this new position with us.
